Dear Friends,

It is my privilege to welcome you to the website for the 2010 USA Dance National DanceSport Championships.  The championships will take place on April 9th-11th, 2010, in Los Angeles, California.  All of us involved hope you will join us in creating an exciting weekend full of fun and lasting memories.

The USA Dance National 2010 DanceSport Championships will occur at the JW Marriott Hotel Los Angeles at L.A. Live.  The JW Marriott Hotel Los Angeles at L.A. LIVE will serve as the focal point of L.A. LIVE, offering sophisticated travelers a front seat to the emerging world-class entertainment, sports and dining district, along with the approachable luxury for which the brand has long been known.

Here you will watch the very best Junior, Youth, Adult, Senior I, Senior II, and Senior III couples from all over the United States as they compete to be selected as the United States champions and to represent the USA in the 2010 International DanceSport Federation Standard, Latin, and 10-Dance World Championships. 

In our quest to improve our National Championships, there have been a number of scheduling changes, so please review the posted schedule carefully.  For the second year, our grand finale will be The Regional Team Match on Sunday night!  This is an invitational event, where the best couples from each Region?s National Qualifying Event are invited to compete for the glory of their region.  Please be sure to attend the Sunday night session to cheer for your team.  We kept competitor entry fees and spectator admission fees to all sessions at the same prices as last year, and finally, there are new packages available, a great VIP program, new workshop topics, and a couple of seminars of interest to coaches, competition organizers, and our championship level competitors.

If during the competition, you have only a few minutes to grab something to eat before your next event, or you find that you are missing a shoelace, or that you've run out of hairspray, all you'll need to do is go out the door and walk a few blocks to downtown L.A.

When you're not watching the dancing or participating in the great social events planned for this weekend, you'll be just steps away from the STAPLES Center, NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE, and the Regal Cineplex.  Plus, let's not forget that right outside the door will be some of the finest restaurants in the area.  In fact, there's so much to do here we recommend that you extend your stay and enjoy the many sights that Los Angeles has to offer!
