For 2012 we have instituted a special competitor only deal: for every 4 entries the couple has, they will be able to buy two (2) evening session tickets for $30.00 per ticket.
Entry fees include admission into the ballroom for ALL sessions in which your event is run.
Therefore, if the first round and quarterfinal are run Friday during the day & the semi-final and final are run during the evening session, you will receive admission tickets to Friday's day and evening sessions.
Entry fees do not include admission into the ballroom for sessions in which you are NOT dancing.
We are still working on the determining who has already qualified for the 2012 Nationals, and the results will be updated on a regular basis. Once again, I am asking for your patience, it takes time to verify everyone's results and we are all working as fast as possible. Click on the link below for the qualified couples.

ENTRY FEES INCLUDE ADMISSION INTO BALLROOM for all sessions in which your event is being run. If you wish to watch any other sessions, you must buy the appropriate spectator tickets.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Competitors, please email or call the Registrar if you need to cancel.
Competitors who cancel by Tuesday, March 6, 2012 will receive a 90% refund;
After March 10, with acceptable medical documentation of inability to compete, 75% refund;
After March 10, without medical documentation, 50% refund;
We will not refund “per event” entry fees for scratched events, nor will we refund any late fees. Please allow us 30 days after the end of the event to process and forward your refund.
After midnight (PST) on Tuesday, March 6th entries will only be taken by phone. You will need to call Ava Kaye-Brennen, our Registrar, and the entries will only be accepted if and only if the entry will not add an additional round. Your name WILL NOT be in the program!
Couples who danced in the final of the Adult or Senior I Standard and/or Adult or Senior I Latin Open Championships during Nationals 2011 will automatically be "passed through" the first round of this year's National Championship in that style. This "pass" will take place if there are 4 or more rounds AND the partnership has remained the same and you have qualified at an NQE.

Even though we are months away from the 2012 Nationals, I just wanted to make sure that there are no surprises, so here are a few quick reminders about how registration will work in Baltimore:
1. You must come to registration as a partnership. If you have multiple partners, try to coordinate your schedules so that you are all together at registration.
2. You must each show photo id and a valid USA Dance membership card at registration. This is so we don't give your number to someone else claiming to be you.
3. Membership issues must be remedied before your number will be released. Renewals at the event will cost an extra $5, so you might want to renew before arriving by going to www.usadance.org. If you do so, please print and bring your renewal receipt with you to registration.
4. ALL PERSONS COMPETING AT NATIONALS MUST HAVE RESIDENCY DOCUMENTATION ON-FILE WITH USA DANCE OR SHOW PROOF OF MEETING RESIDENCY ELIGIBILITY AT REGISTRATION!!!! This means bring a US passport OR a US/State birth certificate OR a foreign passport with US Immigration documents with you if you have any doubts. No driver's licenses, credit cards, library cards, school id's, etc. This is not about your address, but your residency status. If you want to send me residency documents via email (this account) or fax (567-661-9265), I must receive them no later than Wednesday at 6PM EDT. I apologize, but I just won't have the time to process documents received later than that.
5. If you are in a costume-restricted category (all preteen and all syllabus events through Adult), you will have to go through a costume check as part of registration. Please bring your costumes with you to registration, or you will have to back to your room to get them before you can receive your competition number.
6. Competitors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or coach who will sign the injury waiver and the IDSF Anti-Doping Statement for the minor athlete. No exceptions.
PLEASE ALLOW A MINIMUM OF 1 HOUR IN YOUR SCHEDULE FOR REGISTRATION.
Once again we will really try to open Thursday around 2PM, however, due to various hotel related delays this may not be possible, so please be patient. We will be open throughout the weekend. Please, don't show up 5 minutes or even 15 minutes, before your event and expect that you will make it through the process and into the ballroom on time. Come the day before you dance, or at least an hour and a half before you are supposed to be in the ballroom (which is 30 minutes ahead of your scheduled start time).
Your additional tickets, if you ordered any, will be at Will Call, not at registration.
