COMPEtITOR CHECK-IN PROCESS

Prior to the event all athletes must submit the following items:
Disclosure Statement
WDSF Anti-Doping form - all championship couples, including minors dancing in an adult championship event will need to sign this form.  Minors will need their parent/guardian's signature on the form.  The WDSF form can be downloaded from the WDSF web site at www.wdsf.net (see Anti-Doping downloaded documents: WDSF Form of Consent for Athletes 2012). This form must be signed in front of a USA Dance volunteer and cannot be signed and faxed in early.
The USA Dance Waiver Form

For those championship athletes who are dancing in a world-qualifying event, at least one member of the couple must show proof of citizenship and the second member must show proof of their the ability to travel out of, and back into the country.

Registration Check-In: Both members of the couple should be present for check-in.  Competitors under 18 years old should have a parent or guardian accompany them to check-in.

Step 1 - All Pre-Teen, Junior, Youth and Adult Syllabus couples will need to have their costumes vetted by the DanceSport Officials. They will give you a ticket stating that your costumes has been seen and that you are able to dance.

Step 2 - Everyone will need to sign the Anti-Doping form and the USA Dance Waiver

Step 3 - Everyone will need to present their USA Dance membership card & a photo ID (Remember to bring your card with you, don't assume we will have the ability to check your membership status, if you don't have it, you will be asked to pay for your membership plus an additional $5.00 administration fee.)

Step 4 - Any unpaid competitor fees will be collected at this time along with the $50.00 late fee.  This year for your convenience we will be able to accept credit cards

Step 5 - Pick up your competitor package and check that your heats are correct.  If you find an error, please submit an Event Add/Drop form to the on-site registrar immediately.

Costume Check-In will be taking place for all Pre-Teen, Junior, Youth and Adult Syllabus couples prior to picking up your packet.  If you have any questions prior to arriving at the competition, please feel free to contact us by e-mail, refer to the USA Dance DanceSport Rulebook 2012-2013, and/or contact Ray Kaufman with specific questions at: ds-rules@usadance.org

COMPETITOR CHECK-IN HOURS: Please plan on the process taking about 1 hour.

THURSDAY: March 29: 2:00pm - 6:00pm and 7:00pm - 10pm (We will be doing our best to open by 2pm, but please be patient since some things are beyond our ability to control.)
FRIDAY: March 30: Beginning 90 minutes prior to the start of the morning session.
SATURDAY: March 31: Beginning 90 minutes prior to the start of the morning session.
SUNDAY: April 1: Beginning 90 minutes prior to the start of the morning session.

Please check in at your earliest possible opportunity.
